Description Developed for surfing. Engineered for kitesurfing. Smooth and powerful down the line, turning hard in the pocket and releasing on-demand, the Charge Pro is a high-performance surfboard. It is a fast, dedicated surf shape with loads of projection for a powerful vertical attack in larger waves. The Charge Pro also excels at carving, driving upwind, onshore riding, and is versatile enough for aerial tricks. Our Pro construction, Carbon Innegra Futurelite, maximises the board’s strength, without losing flex or responsiveness, while the DualShock EVA inserts increases its durability and protects from heel dents. With fast response, speed and drive, the 2024 Charge Pro delivers a smooth, powerful ride with a positive feel in critical turns. You only need to see our riders charging some of the world’s biggest waves to witness the handling at speed and drive through the turns. The wide point of the board is slightly forward, with concave under the front foot for a fast, driving bottom turn and responsive pivotal top turn with easy release. Rounded surf rails are lower and more refined, giving the board more grip when you’re carving the wave face. The Charge Pro features a two-piece no-slip deck grip, with front and rear kicks for exceptional comfort and control. Materials‐ Futurelite Carbon Integra ReinforcementQuad tail channels Pronounced quad channels towards the tail of the board provide maximum traction and control when launching freestyle tricks. We’ve reduced the thickness of the tail, giving it more concave for speed and pop. ‐ Fast narrow performance surfboard outline‐ Fine low profile surf rails‐ Deep single to slight-double concave bottom‐ Lightweight Futurelite Technology with‐ DualShock‐ Carbon VectorNet Rails‐ Woven Carbon Tail Reinforcement‐ North Hexcel Coremat Fins sold separatelyNEW Faster performance surfboard outline We’ve moved the widest point of the board forward slightly, enabling improved handling at speed and improving the drive through turns. Low-entry surf rocker For fast acceleration, speed and drive. The low-entry surf rocker gives the board excellent upwind ability for getting back to the take-off zone. NEW increased deep single to slight-double concave bottom For 2023 we’ve increased the concave under the front foot, which contributes to a fast, driving bottom turn and responsive pivotal top turn with easy release. Futurelite technology A lightweight Carbon Innegra Futurelite wireframe forms a structural skeleton to support the laminates, maximising strength without losing flex, and allowing the board to load and release power on demand for more drive and responsiveness. On the top side, the Futurelite runs down the centreline of the board and around the foot strap inserts. On the bottom side, it runs along the rails and locks in the leash plug and fin boxes, giving the board a direct feel with no delay. Futurelite allows us to dial in the flex of the board perfectly and create a very durable, lightweight kite surfboard that really comes alive in the waves. NEW finer, lower profile surf rails Lower volume, more pinched rail for a responsive feel and lock-in grip, helps to engage the board into the wave face and give the rider confidence to charge. Lightweight Premium FCSII Fin Boxes Precisely tuned for smoother, tighter turns. The lightweight FCSII Premium fin box is compatible with both FCSI and click-in keyless FCSII fins for more speed & drive, quicker acceleration, and more response from your board. High-density foam reinforcements surrounding the FCSII fin box are shaped to match the curved template of the finbox for a clean bond and smoother load transfer into the board. Fin boxes, leashplug and footstrap inserts are structurally integrated with the laminate by the Futurelite carbon innegra system to give extra reinforcement and tuning. Fins are sold separately. DualShock EVA inserts High-density EVA foam inserts with a biaxial fibreglass layup under the standing area add more durability and help reduce denting around your heel. Our solution to reduce over-engineering, keeping the boards lightweight while retaining required flex. NEW 2-pce deck grip with toe bump and rear wedge kicker New two-piece fine corduroy no-slip deckpad with intuitive front toe bump and rear wedge kick for maximum traction and control. Foot strap insert options Recommended with Free Straps. For when conditions get challenging, locking the rider into a comfortable stance for control in high winds or large waves. Experience instant planing in full comfort with our lightweight memory foam surf straps, featuring our unique pre-tensioned and laminated seamless KnitFlex inners. The Free Straps allow you to customise your fit and stance, giving you freedom to move and shred in any conditions. Straps sold separately. Recommended Hexcel Coremat fins Lightweight fibreglass raked thruster surf fins for smooth control and projection. Our unique North fin base shape does not require FCSII infills. Fins sold separately. Honeycomb mesh packaging We’ve removed all plastic from our surfboard packaging, replacing it with a unique cushioning material that mimics honeycomb. Strategically cut to allow the card to stretch into many different hexagons, this flexible material creates a lightweight protective layer of ‘honeycomb’ mesh. The mesh behaves like a spring to absorb impact and protect the board from abrasion. Conventional cardboard box packaging is very rigid and offers little cushioning or support around large, curved items like our surfboards. As a solution, the space between a product and its box is often filled with polystyrene, bubble wrap and other single-use plastic materials to create a layer of protection. Many of these materials cannot be recycled and contribute to the plastic waste that ends up in our oceans and landfills. Product includes: Board with EVA Deckpad
